The Table in Overland Park is another example of a local business benefiting from the #RestaurantRevitalizationFund .
I voted to support this program (and joined new legislation to refill the fund) because of small business owners like Ellen.
I stopped by Estrella Azul in Mission and spoke with Isael, who worked his way up through the industry to achieve his dream of opening his own restaurant.
He told me how a #RestaurantRevitalizationFund grant helped them weather the pandemic.
Congress failed to help 177,000 restaurants in need by not funding the #RestaurantRevitalizationFund replenishment. National Restaurant Association is still determined to continue fighting to help the restaurant industry recover.
